December 13, 2020

December 15, 2020

• Burglary (Residential):

A residential burglary was reported on the 1600 Block of 1^st Street. Between 12:30 pm and 6:30 pm, unknown person(s) entered the victim’s house through the rear glass patio door. Pry marks were observed on the door lock. Miscellaneous jewelry was taken from one of the bedrooms. A print deputy was requested. No surveillance video was located. The estimated loss was $350.

December 18, 2020

• Grand Theft (Catalytic Converter):

A grand theft was reported on the 1125 Central Avenue (Univeral Mitsubishi). Between 12-01-20, 12:00 am and 12-18-20, 12:00 am, unknown person(s) stole four catalytic converter from four vehicles parked in the dealership parking lot. No surveillance video was located.  The estimated loss was $5,766.
 
December 19, 2020

• Grand Theft (Shoplifting):

A grand theft was reported at 1050 Huntington Drive (Target). The manager was reviewing video and saw on 12-16-20, at approximately 5:00 pm, a male white enter the store and select several miscellaneous items and place them in his shopping cart. The male then walked out of the store making no attempt to pay for the items. Surveillance video captured the incident. The estimated loss was $1,500.
 
 

1. Have your package delivered to your work
2. Have your package delivered to the home of a relative or friend that you know will be home
3. Have your package held at your local post office for pickup.
4. Take advantage of “Ship to Store” option that many stores offer.  Amazon offers a “locker” feature that allows you to pick up your package from a secure location.
5. Request that your package has signature confirmation upon delivery.
6. Ask your carrier to place package in an area out of plain view.
