Hoping everyone is having a great holiday season and all is well with you and your families.
Now it's time to think about activities for January and February for you and your family. We are offering some Fitness, Art, Crime Scene Investigation, and Joomla/Web Design classes and providing esports leagues throughout the year - and registrations for all are open now.
Esports leagues will be coordinated through Mission Control and information on how to download the app and register for the leagues can be found at esports central page. We will add more for the middle of January soon.
Semper Fit Fat Burning and Minis (Kids), PiYo/Flex, Zumba, Zumba Gold, Pilates, Yoga, and Body Sculpting are all set to begin the 1st week in January so sign up now to honor your New Year's Resolutions of getting into shape!!! The Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, and Sculpting classes will be held via the virtual Zoom platform.
Art and Early Art Adventures with Ms. Cristina will begin the week of January 10th and will be four, weekly classes held via the Zoom platform. Three different age groups: 4-6 year old, 7-9 year old, and 10-14 year old.
Adult Art-Watercolors with Cristina will also begin in mid-January via Zoom, and run for 8 weeks on Thursday evenings.
Joomla/Web Design for teens aged 12-18 will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning January 13th with Rytech. These classes will be held via the Zoom platform.
Crime Scene Investigation Camp for kids in grades 6-12 will be held January 25-29 in the late afternoon or on Fridays in February via the Zoom plaform. Class size is very limited for these programs and refunds are not provided once you register. Supplies for the class will be provided by NCSI Camps as part of the registration fee.
Effective January 1, 2021 - we will no longer use Nixle to send these emails out as we are transitioning to Civic Ready in conjunction with Emergency Services. We are in the process of moving this email list over to Civic Ready so you will continue to receive updates from Recreation in 2021.
