EMERGENCY WATER LINE LEAK REPAIR AT THE INTERSECTION OF N. MAIN AVENUE (US 550) AND AZTEC BOULEVARD (NM 516) 
The Public Works Department will be repairing a leak in the water line at the intersection of N. Main Avenue and Aztec Boulevard today December 23, 2020. In order to complete this repair, traffic control will be implemented, restricting east bound traffic on Aztec Boulevard (NM 516) and south bound traffic on Main Avenue (US 550) to one lane in this intersection. Traffic will be re-routed through the intersection for the duration of the repair. Please slow down if you are travelling in this area today.
Work will begin this morning, December 23, 2020. It is anticipated that this repair work will be completed by late afternoon.
It is unclear whether water for customers in the area will need to be shut off. Customers along N. Main Avenue between Aztec Boulevard and Blanco Street should be prepared for a water outage from early morning to late afternoon.
