...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...
The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and
southeast New York.

* From this evening through Friday morning

* Rain will become heavy at times tonight into early Friday morning. The rain will lighten and eventually end late Friday morning into Friday afternoon. Total rainfall of 2 to 4 is forecast.

* Excessive runoff in areas of low lying and poor drainage as well
as urban areas could result in flooding. Some area rivers and
streams may exceed bankfull.
Instructions: A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
