Full Notification

On December 25th, at around 3:00pm, Vigo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the storage units located at 630 E Springhill Dr. in reference to a welfare check. Deputies received information indicating there may be a deceased person inside one of the storage units. After further investigation, a search warrant was obtained for one of the storage units. Deputies and detectives on scene discovered a deceased female. This is being investigated as a homicide based on the scene and evidence. The victim’s name is not being released at this time, pending family notification. Assisting at the scene was the Honey Creek Fire Department, Coroners office, and EMA.
