...Snow Approaching Northeast Iowa and Southeast Minnesota... .Around noon, radar indicated snow, some heavy, was approaching Interstate 35 in north central Iowa and southern Minnesota. Visibilities in the snow quickly dropped to less than one mile and roads become immediately covered and slick. Expect snow to begin in the early afternoon west of the Mississippi river, shifting into Wisconsin by mid to late afternoon. By 6 pm, most of northeast Iowa and far southwest Wisconsin will have 3 to 4 inches of fresh snow. Areas north of Interstate 94 will see snow increase in the early evening. Travel is expected to deteriorate rapidly once snow begins. If you have travel plans during the storm, consider changing them, especially south of Interstate 90. The storm is moving through slightly faster and thus travel should be improving Wednesday morning. The Advisories and Warnings will now end 3 hours sooner Wednesday morning.
