Police activity in the area of 92nd Street - 95th Street / 1200 Block 
The Miami Shores Police Department is currently conducting an article search in the area. As a result of the vehicle burglary arrests that occurred earlier this morning, we are currently searching the area for a discarded firearm/handgun.
While denied by the subject, we believe the subject was untruthful and discarded a firearm/handgun while fleeing from officers this morning.
Due to this concern, we are re-searching the area and request residents pay particular attention towards ensure those who do not understand the dangers of a firearm/handgun are monitored and supervised.

Should any resident locate a firearm/handgun on their property, please do not touch the firearm and immediately contact the police department at 305-759-2468.
