On Tuesday December 29, 2020, at approximately 9:32 p.m., Wasco City Substation deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop near Margalo Street at Annin Avenue. During the stop, the driver, Oscar Sanchez (29) of Wasco, was detained. During the stop and investigation, deputies located a large amount of suspected illegal drugs. Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail for possession of a controlled substance for sale and driving on a suspended license.
