The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Southwestern Meriwether County in west central Georgia... Southeastern Troup County in west central Georgia... North central Harris County in west central Georgia...

* Until noon EST.

* At 1132 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Whitesville-Pine Lake, or 7 miles northwest of Hamilton, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include... Greenville, Pine Mountain, Warm Springs, F.d. Roosevelt State Park, Raleigh, Odessadale, Stovall, Big Springs, Durand, Jones Crossroads, Harris City, Whitesville-Pine Lake and Mountville.
