Deputies arrested Amber Entzminger for identity theft and credit card fraud; Brenden Connor was also arrested

LOCATION: Sleepy Hollow Cabins & Hotel, Crestline
SUSPECT(S): Amber Entzminger, 38 year-old resident of Crestline
Brendin Connor, 35 year-old resident of Crestline
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On December 30, 2020, deputies were called to a local hotel in Crestline where the victim was renting a room. The victim's credit card information was stolen and used at the nearby Shell gas station to purchase $89 worth of gas. Through investigation, it was determined the hotel employee, Amber Entzminger, stole the victim's card information and used it to purchase gas for her pickup truck.
Entzminger was contacted the following day at the hotel where she was staying with her boyfriend, Brendin Connor. Connor was arrested for a no-bail parole violation and he was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Entzminger was arrested for identity theft and credit card fraud. Both suspects were booked into Central Detention Center.
