David Banchetto of Desert Hot Springs was arrested for burglary

SUSPECT: David Duane Banchetto, 46-years-old from Desert Hot Springs
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, December 24, 2020, at approximately 8:41 p.m., Deputy Collas from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to the Etiwanda Preserve for a report of three vehicle burglaries. The vehicles were broken into, and wallets and purses were stolen.
Through investigation, Deputy Collas identified the suspect as a dark-skinned male, driving a blue Honda Civic 4 door, and obtained the plate number.
On Friday, December 25, 2020, at approximately 1:58 p.m., deputies from the Highland Police Department located the suspect vehicle and conducted a stop. The driver, identified as David Duane Banchetto, was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for burglary.
