Full Notification

The first recycling and garbage pickups by the Department of Public Works have been completed.  A few brief reminders/points to keep in mind for collection going forward:

• Christmas trees will be picked up again Tuesday and every Tuesday for the remainder of January.
• It is not critical which way carts are facing-only that they are placed at/on the curb.
• If recycling was not picked up this week due to prohibited items (plastic bags, etc...) please remember that overflow recycling in a separate container is permitted.
• No overflow garbage will be accepted from this point on.  All trash must be placed in the black 95 gallon cart.  
• Old (empty) garbage cans will be accepted on garbage days for the remainder of January.
• Please refer to the attached document from Waste Management regarding what is and is not permitted for single stream recycling.
