December 28th
Vehicle Burglary
600 block Robertson Blvd
12/28/2020 @ 1200-1650. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a laptop computer from the back seat. #05674
 
December 29th
Grand Theft
900 block Gardner Street
12/29/2020 – 12/31/2020. An unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from a 2007 Honda Accord that was parked on the street. #05710
 
Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
1100 block La Brea Avenue
12/29/2020 @ 1745. A man confronted a store clerk claiming a debit card he purchased from the store was not loaded with the proper funds. The suspect went behind the counter and tried to open the cash register and demanded money. The suspect then punched the victim several times in the face and knocked her to the ground. A second employee tried to intervene and was punched by the suspect. The suspect fled the store on foot and was arrested by responding deputies. #05685

6500 block Melrose Avenue
12/30/2020 @ 1727. A man removed a Louis Vuitton purse from a display area and left the store without payment. The suspect was arrested by deputies on 01/05/2021. #00043

01/03/2021 @ 1658. Two men removed eight pairs of jeans from a display area and attempted to leave the store without payment. When confronted at the exit by an employee, one suspect produced a handgun and told the victim to get out of his way. #00039
 
Vehicle Burglary
900 block Genesee Avenue
01/03/2020 @ 1930-2015(next day). An unknown suspect removed a tablet computer, boxing gloves, and shoes from the trunk. No sign of forced entry. The suspect also removed an unsecured bicycle that was parked near the vehicle. #00050
