Last night January 10th, 2021, at approx 10:30 p.m. officers from the Jonesboro Police Department and Sheriff’s Office responded to a person shot call at an extended stay motel located at 8240 Tara Blvd.    Upon arrival Officers and Deputies discovered a man shot in the neck who had succumbed to his wound.   Witnesses stated the victim was involved in an altercation with a man who shot him as a result.

After investigation, Jonesboro Police Detectives identified the shooter as Diondre Tramaine Bickley and warrants for murder were issued for his arrest.  Within the last hour Detectives from Jonesboro Police and the elite Fugitive Squad took Bickley into custody without incident.

Bickley is now facing the wall at “The Hill-ton”.
