On Sunday, January 10, 2021 at approximately 11:50 pm, Gilroy Police officers heard shots fired in the area of 8^th and Hanna Streets.  At the same time several callers reported gunshots in the same area.  Officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting but no suspects or victims were located.   Shortly after identifying the shooting scene, a local hospital had two separate gunshot victims, both adult males, arrive at the emergency room.  One of the victims was determined to have life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma center.  The other victim is expected to recover.
