COVID-19 Vaccinations Expand to NJ Seniors and Those with Certain Medical Conditions
This week Warren County is reporting another surge in Covid-19 cases. The county is averaging 60 cases per day, up from 45 cases per day last week. The positivity rate is 16.8%. Knowlton Township has added an additional 12 cases in one week. The full numbers for all area towns are contained in the attached chart.

Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, January 14, those eligible to receive Covid-19 vaccinations has expanded to include New Jersey residents ages 65 and older and individuals ages 16-64 with certain medical conditions, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), that increase the risk of severe illness from the virus. Those conditions include:
- cancer
- chronic kidney disease
- COPD
- Down Syndrome
- heart conditions
- obesity and severe obesity
- sickle cell disease
- smoking
- type 2 diabetes mellitus
The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will be administered Thursday, January 21 and Friday, January 22, 2021 through the Warren County Health Department at North Warren Regional High School.
