Channa Tho was arrested for robbery and an outstanding warrant

LOCATION: 25300 block of 6th Street Highland
SUSPECT(S): Channa Tho, 40 years of age, a resident of Highland
VICTIM(S): Yazeed Sweidan, 28 years of age, a resident of Corona
SUMMARY: On January 6, 2021, at approximately 10:30 pm, Yazeed Sweidan met Channa Tho near Shirley's Liquor, located at 25388 6th Street, in the City of Highland. Sweidan and Tho were acquaintances; however, Tho was only known to Sweidan by an alias. After meeting, Tho robbed Sweidan at gunpoint. Through the course of their investigation, Highland Sheriff's Deputies were able to successfully identify Tho. An arrest warrant was obtained for Tho and a search warrant was authorized for Tho's residence.
On January 14, 2021, Tho was arrested for his outstanding warrant and the search warrant was served at Tho's residence. The search warrant yielded evidence further proving Tho's involvement in the robbery. Tho was booked into custody at the West Valley Detention Center.
