ACCUSED: Allen R. Buford Jr. / 30 year old male / Ocean, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On January 15th 2021 at approximately 11:33 pm Officer Dean Schoch was on patrol within the Twinbrook Village apartment complex and initiated a motor vehicle stop. As he approached the vehicle, the driver threw an object out of the passenger window. Investigation revealed that the driver, identified as 30 year old male Allen R. Buford Jr. of Ocean Township, had thrown a plastic bag filled with marijuana out of the vehicle. Additionally, Officer Schoch located a machete inside of the vehicle.
Buford was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he was were processed. Buford was charged with unlawful possession of weapon, possession of under fifty grams of marijuana, tampering with evidence and several motor vehicle offenses. He was later released on a criminal summons, pending a future court appearance.
