Kristopher Rodriguez was arrested for possession of a loaded and concealed unregistered firearm (ghost gun)

INCIDENT: Possession of concealed loaded firearm not registered with Department of Justice (DOJ).
LOCATION: Slover Avenue / Spruce Avenue, Bloomington
SUSPECT: Kristopher Rodriguez, 18 years old, resident of Bloomington
SUMMARY:
On January 20, 2021 at approximately 11:08 p.m., Deputy J. Spinney from the Sheriff's Fontana Station, was dispatched to the location of Slover Avenue and Spruce Avenue in Bloomington reference a possible domestic incident. Spinney contacted the female subject and the male subject, later identified as Kristopher Rodriguez. During the contact, Rodriguez consented to a pat-down search of his person for any weapons and during the search Deputy Spinney located a loaded 9mm pistol with an extended magazine in his front waist band. After further inspection of the firearm, it was found to be an unregistered, unserialized firearm, commonly referred to as a "ghost gun."
Rodriguez was arrested for Possession of concealed loaded firearm not registered with Department of Justice (DOJ). Rodriguez was booked at West Valley Detention Center where he is being held on $25,000 bail.
