| On January 21, 2021, detectives with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Street Team concluded a narcotics sales investigation involving Charles Tomlinson from Ventura, who was involved in the sales of narcotics to residents of Ventura County. In early January 2021, detectives received information regarding Tomlinson’s involvement in the sales of methamphetamine to residents of Ventura County. Detectives conducted an investigation and subsequently gathered enough evidence to obtain a search warrant for his residence located in the 800 Block of Cameron Street in Ventura. On January 21, 2021, detectives contacted and detained Tomlinson outside of his residence. Detectives conducted a search of his residence pursuant to the signed search warrant. During the search, detectives found 320 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and Alprazolam pills possessed for sales. Detectives also seized evidence indicative of narcotics sales. Based on the circumstances, Tomlinson was arrested for various narcotics sales charges and was booked at the Pre-Trail Detention Facility. |
