A winter storm warning is in effect for the Burr Ridge area Mon. afternoon thru Tues. afternoon. 
A winter storm bringing up to 8 inches of heavy, wet snow is forecasted to begin Monday afternoon and end Tuesday evening. This storm will affect the commutes on Monday evening and Tuesday morning.
The Burr Ridge Public Works Department has ample road salt, crews, and equipment to handle the approaching storm. Please refrain from parking vehicles in the roadways so that our snowplow trucks and drivers can operate efficiently and safely. Trucks will not remove snow plowed onto driveways, so kindly consider helping your neighbors that may need assistance clearing this snow from their driveways and walkways. Village operations will continue throughout the snow event until all roadways are passable.
