Prepare Now for Upcoming Storm 
- PREPARE NOW: Strong winds, rain & potential flooding to begin tonight through Thursday morning.
- GUSTY WINDS: Combined with heavy rains could quickly saturate soil, blow down trees and cause power lines to fall. Weather related power outages are possible per Pacific Gas & Electric and U.S. National Weather Service
- POWER LINES: Do not attempt to move downed power lines! Leave the area immediately and call 9-1-1. Then call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.
- DOWNED TREES: To report downed trees blocking roadways call 415-897-4361.
- DRIVING SAFETY:
- Slow Down
- Don't follow too close
- Don't try to cross standing bodies of water
- Stay out of flooded areas.
- SAND BAGS: If your area is prone to flooding, sand bags and sand are available at the Novato Corporation Yard (550 Davidson Street) - before 4 p.m. www.novato.org/sandbags
- EMERGENCY KIT: Have an emergency go bag ready with evacuation maps specific to your neighborhood. Evacuation maps can be found at: www.novatofire.org/prevention/evacuation-maps
