Please be reminded that the County is still scheduling regular appointments for COVID-19 tests at varying locations throughout the County.  These tests can be scheduled at www.EssexCOVID.org.
 
Also, the County’s vaccine distribution plan is currently underway. North Caldwell residents are directed to the Essex County Vocational-Technical School at 620 Passaic Avenue in West Caldwell.  Those eligible to receive the vaccination are individuals ages 65 and older, persons 18-64 with high-risk medical conditions, uniformed police officers, firefighters, health care workers and others identified in Group 1A.  Anybody interested in scheduling a vaccine through the County should visit www.EssexCOVID.org.  Residents in Group 1A or outside of Group 1A are also welcome to register or pre-register on the State’s website at www.covid19.nj.gov.
 
Lastly, the Borough is assembling a list of homebound residents wishing to receive the vaccine.  The list will be used by our local Health Department to coordinate a mobile vaccination plan for all such residents. We ask that you email Police Chief Deuer at [email protected] to provide necessary information and to be placed on the list.
