Weather Advisory
There is a weather advisory from Tuesday, January 26, 2021 starting at 7pm till Wednesday, January 27, 2021 till 7pm.
Residents should prepare for winds from 20 to 30 mph upwards to 50 to 60 mph with rain.
While the current warning from National Weather Service is only for 24-hour period, it is most likely to be extended as the rain and winds are expected to last until February 1, 2021.
The strong winds may blow down trees, and powerlines, which can affect electrical and internet service in the area.

For down trees in public roadways, contact Contra Costa Public Works Department at 925-313-2000
Before driving, make sure your vehicle’s headlights and windshield wipers are in good working order. Please remember that California Vehicle Code requires your Vehicle Headlights to be on when driving on public roadways when there is rain and inclement weather.
