Attention Clay County Residents the Clay County Sheriffs office is currently working a rapidly developing investigation in response to the shooting earlier today in Hiawasse georgia. Residents in the Matheson Cove Community are ask to shelter in place and remain indoors. Matheson Cove Road is currently blocked on both ends to through traffic. The Sheriffs office is on scene and residents will be notified when the scene is safe.
