...HEAVY SNOW THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... .A cold storm system will move across the region through Wednesday morning. Significant snowfall is expected for elevations above 1500 to 2500 feet. The heaviest snow is expected to fall this evening with a second round occurring Wednesday morning.
* WHAT...Heavy wet snow above 2500 feet. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.
* WHERE...Southwestern Humboldt County.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHWESTERN HUMBOLDT
