Effective yesterday, Monday, January 25, 2021, the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health Officer revised the Reopening Safer at Work and in the Community for Control of COVID-19 Order to account for the recent decline of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and testing positivity rates in the County. The Order will be revised in the future to reflect the State Executive Orders and State Public Health Officer Orders. Please note this Order does not supersede any stricter limitation imposed by a local public entity within the County of Los Angeles Public Health Jurisdiction.

The revised Order includes the following revisions:
• A maximum of three households may gather outdoors only (maximum of 15 people). Keep the attendance small, and the households should remain consistent over time. Keep the gatherings short, and everyone must abide by the mandated physical distancing guidelines.
• The number of customers at outdoor cardrooms, miniature golf, batting cages, and go-cart racing will be limited to 50% maximum outdoor capacity.
• Services at indoor operations for retail, office, and personal care establishments will be limited to 25% capacity. Face coverings are to be worn at all times by staff and customers.
o Services that require either the customer or the staff to remove their face covering, such as facials and shaves, are not permitted.
o Food and drinks cannot be served at these establishments to customers.
• Places of worship should engage in outdoor or remote faith-based services and other related activities for all attendees.
• Playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment are open.
• Family entertainment centers are limited to 50% outdoor capacity.
• Museums, zoos, and aquariums are limited to 50% outdoor capacity.
• Fitness facilities are open for outdoor operations only.
• Hotels and motels are allowable only for tourism and individual travel.
The following restrictions remain in effect until Friday, January 29, 2021:
• Restaurants, wineries, and breweries remain open for pick-up, delivery, and take-out only.
• Non-essential businesses closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

We take this pandemic very seriously and send our deepest sympathies to those whose lives have been affected by this pandemic. Residents, business owners, and employees must continue to observe physical distancing requirements and prevention techniques outlined in the Order. Failure to comply with these provisions constitutes a threat to public health and is a crime and punishable by a citation, civil penalty, injunction, fine, or imprisonment.
