...HEAVY SNOW THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... .A cold storm system will move across the region through Wednesday morning. Significant snowfall is expected for elevations above 1500 to 2500 feet. The heaviest snow is expected to fall this evening with a second round occurring Wednesday morning.
* WHAT...Heavy wet snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches. Accumulating snow expected as low as 700 feet elevation in northern and central Mendocino County. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Southeastern Mendocino Interior, Northwestern Mendocino Interior and Southwestern Humboldt Counties.
* WHEN...Until midnight PST tonight.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
