Warren County seniors can now schedule their Covid-19 vaccine either online or through the County Call Center: (908) 878-3188. You must be 65 or older and a Warren County resident. The call center is open Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The system is up and running, however, all appointments have been assigned this week. Additional appointments will become available next week when the next shipment of vaccine is received.
The call center was set up to make it easier for seniors who may have difficulty with computers to get an appointment. If you are a senior, you can use either the call center or the online scheduling system found at: Warren County Health Department (appointment-plus.com)
FOR RESIDENTS WAITING ON A SECOND VACCINE DOSE:
Approximately three weeks after your first shot, you will receive an email from the County with a link to book your 2nd dose appointment. There will be designated appointments for those needing the 2nd dose.
If you are unable to schedule online with the link emailed to you, or do not receive the email, it is recommended to schedule your 2nd dose appointment three weeks after the 1st by calling (908) 475-7700 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 10:00am – 5:00pm).
If you have any questions related to the vaccine, please email [email protected]. Email is preferred since the county is receiving an abundance of calls.
January 27, 2021 Knowlton Coronavirus Vaccine Update
This week Warren County is reporting an additional 295 positive cases of Covid-19 from last week, for a positivity rate of 15.4%. Knowlton Township increased by 9 new cases this week to bring the total to 142 cases with 125 persons fully recovered. The region’s health care system has capacity at this time. There is currently 41% availability in local hospitals' intensive care units and 77% available ventilator capacity.
NEW THIS WEEK:
- Vaccines given out by the county are now available only to those who live, work, or go to school in Warren County.
- In the coming weeks, the vaccine schedule be: Monday the county receives its allotment of vaccinations. Tuesday will be dedicated to second dose/ booster shots. Wednesday through Friday will be reserved for 1st doses. Saturday may be used for additional appointments if needed.
- County vaccinations can now be obtained at three locations: the Goodwill Firehouse in Belvidere, North Warren High School in Blairstown, and the Southwest Branch of the County Library in Phillipsburg.
