01/18/2021 @ 1600-0730. An unknown suspect removed a purse, fur coat, and leather jacket from the trunk. No sign of forced entry. #00280

Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
8600 block Santa Monica Blvd
01/19/2021 @ 0220. A man pointed a box cutter at a security guard and threatened to hurt him after being asked to leave the area. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00273

01/19/2021 @ 1312. A woman removed a wallet from victim’s purse after it was left momentarily unattended in a shopping cart. #00279

01/19/2021 @ 2130-1430. An unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from a 2005 Toyota Prius that was parked in an unsecured parking lot. #00302

12/19/2020 – 12/21/2020. An unknown suspect removed a handgun, cell phone, sunglasses, speaker, and a car key from the bedroom. No sign of forced entry. #00142

01/19/2021 – 01/21/2021. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and ransacked the interior but did not take anything. #00315

1200 block Sweetzer Avenue (Attempt)
01/20/2021 @ 2311. A man opened an unlocked window and moved the window blinds with his hands. The suspect never made entry and ran from the area after being told to leave by the resident. #00308
Strong Arm Robbery
9000 block Beverly Blvd
01/20/2021 @ 1145. A man and a woman removed medication from display areas and attempted to leave the store without payment. When confronted at the exit by store security, the male suspect struck the victim in the face with his elbow and then fled the area. #00300

8200 block Sunset Blvd
01/21/2021 @ 0240. A man used an unlocked front door to gain entry and removed mail from several mailboxes. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00307

600 block San Vicente Blvd
01/21/2021 @ 1230. A woman was walking on the third floor of the parking structure when a man approached from behind and attempted to pull the victim’s purse from her shoulder. A struggle ensued and the victim fell to the ground and lost possession of her purse. #00318

01/22/2021 @ 0900-1130. An unknown suspect removed one pair of sunglasses from the center console and a jacket containing a wallet from the back seat. No sign of forced entry. #00355

01/23/2021 @ 1030. A woman was sitting at the bus stop when a man approached and asked her for money. The victim said she had no money and the suspect hit her in the face with a wooden stick. #00343
