Fire Investigation 
On Friday, January 29, 2021 at approximately 8:14 AM the Middleton Police and Fire Departments were sent to the Westlake Cove Apartments, 2122 Allen Boulevard, for the report of a fire on the second floor.
The Fire Department quickly extinguished the flames which were contained to one apartment. All residents were able to safely evacuate and they have since been allowed to return to their apartments. There was one minor injury which was not related to the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
