Borough of Alburtis Snow Emergency
The Borough of Alburtis has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY starting at 5pm today, January 31, 2021 and lasting until further notice.
All vehicles must be removed from snow emergency routes. Failure to be removed will result in a parking ticket and/or being towed at owner's expense.
Shoveling snow into the street after being plowed will result in a ticket, with a fine of up to $300.
Snow must be removed from sidewalks within 24 hours of last snow fall.
Please remove snow from around fire hydrants. This is for your safety and the safety of your neighbors.
High winds are expected with a total snowfall of 18 to 22 inches. Visibility will be limited.
If you do need to travel, be sure to have adequate supplies including, but not limited to, blankets, shovel, road flares/triangles, phone charger, water, food, extra clothing, jacket, gloves, knit hat sunglasses, and salt.
