Penn Waste routes will not be operating on Monday, February 1st, 2021, due to inclement weather. At this point, they are planning on operating on Tuesday, February 2nd, running on a holiday schedule for the remainder of the week. Due to the potential severity of the storm, they may need to cancel operations on Tuesday as well. They will be meeting tomorrow afternoon to review their plan for the remainder of the week.
If they determine the need to cancel Tuesday collections, the holiday schedule will no longer be in place. Penn Waste will then collect double the following week, as there is no feasible way to catch up on the cancelled Monday and Tuesday routes before Saturday.
