Deputy Rappisi arrested two suspects following a traffic stop for an expired registration; a gun was recovered

LOCATION: Terrace Ave./Walnut Ave., Grand Terrace, CA
SUSPECT(S): John Valderamma, age 31, resident of San Bernardino
Bianca Rodriguez, age 39, resident of Grand Terrace
SUMMARY: On Sunday, January 31, 2021, Deputy Rappisi from Central Station conducted a traffic stop on Terrace Avenue and Walnut Avenue, in Grand Terrace, on a vehicle for expired registration. During the traffic stop, it was discovered the driver, John Valderamma, was on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) with search terms. A search of the vehicle revealed an unregistered and concealed handgun along with a quantity of a controlled substance. Valderamma was prohibited from possessing any firearm and the passenger, Bianca Rodriguez, was not legally allowed to possess any concealed weapon.
Valderamma and Rodriguez were arrested, booked into Central Detention Center. Valderamma is being held on $50,000 bail and Rodriguez is being held on $25,000 bail. The case will be forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office.
