KCMO Monthly Outdoor Tornado Warning Siren Test Today 
Kansas City, MO, will conduct its monthly test of the tornado outdoor warining sirens today at 11:00 am. The test is designed to last 3 minutes.
The outdoor tornado warning sirens are to be heard when you are out of doors to warn you to take shelter and get more information from other sources such as the media and/or NOAA all-hazards weather radios. Kansas City, MO, does not sound an "all clear," so additional soundings mean more tornados or high wind situations.
