01/25/2021 @ 0300. A man took a phone from his girlfriend during an argument. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00365

7700 block Romaine Street
01/26/2021 – 01/28/2021. An unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from a 2004 Toyota Prius that was parked on the street. #00407
January 27th
Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
8600 block Santa Monica Blvd
01/27/2021 @ 1044. A man approached a security guard in an aggressive manner while holding a pair of pliers in his hands after being asked to leave the area. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00385
Strong Arm Robbery
1000 block N La Brea Avenue
01/27/2021 @ 1232. Five men removed seven cell phones from a display area and attempted to leave the store without payment. A security guard tried to intervene and was pushed to the side by one of the suspects. #00389
Vehicle Burglary
1200 block Larrabee Street
01/27/2021 @ 2320-0010. An unknown suspect removed tools from the interior. No sign of forced entry. #00408
January 28th
Aggravated Assault - Knife
8400 block Santa Monica Blvd
01/28/2021 @ 1230. A man was sitting in the park when the suspect approached him and asked for a cigarette. The suspect became upset and removed a knife from his duffel bag and pointed it at the victim and then moved towards him in a threatening manner. The suspect fled the area on foot. #00411

01/28/2021 @ 1800. A man removed perfume from a display area and left the store without payment. #00418

01/28/2021 @ 0121. A man attempted to pry the patio door open but was unsuccessful. No loss. #00423

Vehicle Burglary
800 block N West Knoll Drive
01/29/2021 @ 0400. An unknown suspect pried the front passenger’s side window open and removed a briefcase and two jackets from the front passenger seat. The briefcase contained an IPad, notepad, and checkbook. #00422

1100 block Detroit Street
01/31/2021 @ 0232. A man used a key to gain access to the lobby of the apartment complex. The suspect used the same key to open resident mail boxes and removed mail. #00455
