Angel Guzman of Calimesa, was arrested for Grand Theft Auto and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

INCIDENT: Grand Theft Auto and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
LOCATION: 31800 Block of Avenue E, Yucaipa, California
SUSPECT(S): Angel Guzman, 20 year old male, resident of Calimesa
SUMMARY: On February 3, 2021, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Yucaipa Police Station deputies were alerted of a stolen vehicle in the city of Yucaipa. The vehicle was identified as a white 2015 Kia Optima sedan which was reported stolen out of the city of South Gate. At approximately 12:57 pm, MET Deputies, A. Alcala and D. Brandt located the stolen vehicle in the 31800 block of Avenue E and initiated a high-risk traffic stop. The driver, who was later identified as Angel Guzman, was taken into custody without incident.
Guzman was arrested for Grand Theft Auto and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Guzman was booked at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
