Winter Weather Advisory until 07:00PM Friday

* WHAT...Snow and Blowing Snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to two inches will be possible especially north of I 69. Wind gusts as high as 40 mph will lead to areas of blowing snow.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Intermittent lake effect snow showers, areas of blowing snow, and temperatures dropping into the teens this afternoon will lead to slippery travel conditions across the advised area. Areas of blowing snow and bands of moderate snow are expected to reduce visibility at times. The compromised travel conditions will impact the evening commute.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LIVINGSTON ... LAPEER ... OAKLAND ... MIDLAND ... ST. CLAIR ... BAY ... WASHTENAW ... SAGINAW ... HURON ... TUSCOLA ... WAYNE ... MACOMB ... SANILAC ... SHIAWASSEE ... GENESEE
