The Department of Public Works will soon be wrapping up plowing operations for the night, and will resume work tomorrow morning with salting, as well as clearing out municipal lots and sidewalks. 

Thanks to everyone who moved their cars off of the street to help facilitate plowing. For those parked in Lots 1 and 3 due to the storm, please ensure your cars are moved by 6:00AM on Monday so that the lots can be properly cleared. 

As a reminder, all sidewalks must be cleared by property owners within 24 hours after the snow has stopped falling. When doing so, throwing/tossing/blowing snow back into a plowed street is not permitted, as it impedes plowing work and contributes to icing on the roads. 

Grand Sanitation will proceed with the regularly scheduled recycling pickup for Zone 6 tomorrow. Please ensure that your items for collection are easily accessible and do not require the crews to climb over snow banks.
