On Monday, February, 8, 2021, Haledon DPW called for an emergency cancelation of snow removal due to machinery and equipment malfunction on that morning. Its been a trying last couple of weeks and we thank them for their hard work. We apologize on their behalf for any inconvenience.

The removal of excess snow from our major thorofares continues Wednesday, February 10, 2021, with Zabriskie Street, Harris Street and Haledon Avenue between Zabriskie Street and Burhans Avenue. As such, all vehicles parked on Zabriskie Street, Harris Street and Haledon Avenue between Zabriskie Street and Burhans Avenue must be moved by 9AM, Wednesday, February 10, 2021. For Wednesday, February 10, 2021, residents may park at Bridgeway Community Church as per Pastor Richard Jones.

As a reminder, during snow storms, all snow, including sidewalks and vehicles, must be shoveled within 24 hours after snow-fall. If not, you may be issued a summons. Please clear fire hydrants of snow as well. Lastly, foreign objects shall not be used to reserve parking spaces.
