Snow-bound/Abandoned Vehicles 
The Haledon Police Department takes tremendous pride in being understanding of our community. After going above and beyond by issuing numerous warnings, running many license plates and knocking on countless doors, we continue to discover snow-bound vehicles in violation of Borough Municipal Code 386-1. This evening, starting at 7PM, the Haledon Police Department will be not only ticketing, but also TOWING, snowbound vehicles in violation. To avoid having your vehicle towed, make sure it is not snow-covered or snowbound.
Furthermore, as a reminder, if sidewalks were not shoveled within 24 hours after snow-fall, summonses are being issued by Code Enforcement.
