Winter weather event....Snow Parking Ban on Village Streets now in place
Snow Parking Ban in-place for Village Streets
Monday-February 15, 2021
Snow Parking Ban is in Effect due to the snow fall exceeding 2” at this time, with more to come during this snow event! (This event is expected to go well into Tuesday time frame)
No Parking on Village Streets is permitted during this snow event. Public Works is working around the clock (12-hour shifts) to maintain the roadways. Please be patient as the wind is causing recently plowed streets to be re-covered in snow, shortly after they clear the roadway. Allow extra space between vehicles and go at a slower pace, as the roadway are icy in spots.
We need everyone's cooperation not to park on Village Streets until we provide an update that the ban has been lifted. Having no vehicles parked on the roadways will assist the Public Works Crews in removing the snow efficiently.
Even though a snow plow comes down your street and clears the snow, please do not park on the street as this snow event will require multiple passes by Public Works throughout the entire event.
Those vehicles left on the street are subject to ticketing and being towed.
Thank you for your cooperation and be safe out there!
