Thomas Acuna of Anaheim was arrested for vehicle theft

LOCATION: 2511 Needles Hwy, Needles, CA (Shell Gas Station)
SUSPECT(S): Thomas Acuna, age 37 a resident of Anaheim, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: While on proactive patrol, Detective Abell saw the susoect, Thomas Acuna, acting suspiciously near parked vehicles at the Shell gas station. He was contacted and found to have driven a reported stolen vehicle out of Brea, CA to the Mobile gas station next door. Acuna was arrested for vehicle theft and was found to be on active parole for assault. He was transported to the High Desert Detention Center where he was booked and held on $100,000 bail.
