WEATHER STATEMENT AND SNOW EMERGENCY
The National Weather Service Detroit - MI, has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON TUESDAY... Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 9 inches.
IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening and especially the Tuesday morning commute. Snow will become heavy at times tonight. Highest snowfall totals expected from the Lake Huron shoreline southward through metro Detroit, and near the Ohio border.
As a result, the City of Roseville has declared a Snow Emergency to take effect February 16, 2021 at 6:00 A.M. All vehicles must be removed from the roadways until such a time that the snow, sleet, or ice has stopped, and individual streets have been completely cleared from curb to curb. Such snow emergency shall expire 36 hours after weather conditions creating the emergency have stopped, unless the snow emergency has been extended.
