* WHAT... AVALANCHE WARNING. THE AVALANCHE DANGER IS HIGH (LEVEL 4 OF 5).
* WHERE...CAIC NORTH SAN JUAN ZONE INCLUDING...San Juan Mountains...San Miguel Mountains...Rico Mountains...Uncompahgre Plateau and Dallas divide... La Garita Mountains
* WHEN...Beginning 7:00 AM Tuesday February 16. Expires at 7:00 AM Wednesday February 17.
* IMPACTS...Snow and wind are overloading a weak snowpack. Avalanche conditions are very dangerous. Avalanches will break deep and wide across multiple terrain features and run to the extent of avalanche paths.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Very large and dangerous avalanches are likely.
