Decatur County Officials have reduced the travel status to an Orange or Watch Level effective at 1:00 pm.

Decatur County has reduced the travel status to a Watch Level and cancelled the Emergency Declaration effect at 1:00 pm. Officials still caution motorist that some roads that are less traveled have not been plowed yet, but the primary and secondary roads have been plowed.  There is still snow and ice covering many roads and caution should be used if you must travel. Watch (ORANGE)
  • Means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During a "watch" local travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations.
