Clute, like our sisters Cities, is making every effort to restore water pressure but without BWA back up generation the systems regular service is not achievable. The severe winter weather across the State is prohibiting the transportation of back up equipment. We are receiving reports that natural gas supplies are also slow, meaning that power generation continues to be hindered which in turn limits Center Point Energy’s ability to restore power. Please understand that the Cities are doing everything within their power to restore water and provide other essential services.
Please also note that the City’s 911 System has been restored for emergency response.
