* WHAT...Heavy snow. New snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Total storm accumulation of around 4 to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph late this afternoon with a mix to and transition to rain late this afternoon.

* WHERE...The Northeast Gulf Coast including Yakutat.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM AKST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Heavy snow will make travel very difficult. Wet snow will be difficult to manage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As of just before 9 AM Yakutat had already received 2 to 3 inches of snow already.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CAPE FAIRWEATHER TO CAPE SUCKLING COASTAL AREA
