Water service has been restored. It will be slow because of operating at 1/3 capacity. Full pressure around midnight. Be patient, pleas

Water update: Water distribution has begun! It will be a slow process because we are operating on one filter instead of three. We have to do a thorough backwash on each filter which is a four hour process for each filter, so that being said..... it will be midnight before we have full water pressure. Please be patient, the water is coming!
In the best interest of the community, we are asking all of our customers to please conserve water if possible. YOU CAN CATCH THE WATER COMING FROM YOUR FAUCETS IN A POT AND BOIL THAT WATER FOR CONSUMPTION. The employees are working diligently to keep the plant up and running, but this weather is NOT helping at all.
Also, a reminder that we are under a boil advisory and you will need to boil your water for one full minute in a clean container before consumption.
Lastly, please do not call the Police Dept or the after hours water dept for water updates, these guys are extremely busy and are unable to answer the phone. If anything changes from the information above, I will update on facebook and send out a First Call as soon as I receive the information.
Thank you and stay home and be safe, Veronica, Town Clerk
