Full Notification

State law requires all parking meters in the state be recertified for accuracy every five years or as needed. Some of the parking meters need recertification. You may see that some parking meters do not have the ability to accept coins since the parking meter heads have been removed. This is so they can be recertified. Other parking meters are able to accept coins because they have already been recertified.

This message is to notify you the Mercersburg Police Department is currently not enforcing paid parking at the parking meters. Enforcement will begin again after all parking meters have been recertified.

Prior to resuming parking meter enforcement, you will be notified through NIXLE and other means of the resumption of parking meter enforcement.
